Mike Morgan has been a shareholder of the firm since 1989. His practice focuses on real estate, oil & gas, airports, business and related litigation.

Mr. Morgan represents entities engaged in the acquisition, financing, entitlement, development and operation or real property. He is experienced in negotiating agreements to resolve conflicts between surface and oil & gas development. He also represents oil & gas companies with respect to regulatory, land use and surface use matters.

He represents commercial service and general aviation airports as both general and outside counsel. Such representation includes operational, leasing, contracting, development, noise and other federal regulatory issues, and complaints before FAA under Part 16.

He is experienced in the litigation of issues relating to his civil practice. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Wyoming and related federal courts.

Mr. Morgan has provided public and professional service as a member of the Colorado Airport Operators Association; chairman of the Legal Committee of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association; chairman of the Natural Resources Committee of the Federal Bar Association; and a member and chairman of several non-profit boards. From 1976 to 1980, he served as legislative and administrative assistant to U.S. Senator Malcolm Wallop.

Mr. Morgan studied at the United States Naval Academy, the University of Wyoming (B.S. 1971) and the University of Wyoming, College of Law (J.D. 1974).
